• attempts to thwart a terrorist arms bazaar near the Russian border, but military command deems it a military operation and fires a missile not knowing yet that there are nuclear torpedoes on one of the fighter jets, leaving Bond four minutes to hijack the jet and fly it out of harm's way just before missile impacts; eludes pursuing fighter jet and ejects rear seat pilot in his jet into rear seat of other jet when it is above, causing other jet to spin out of control and explode

• trapped by the nose-down helicopter's propeller in a dead end, drives at helicopter and slides motorcycle under propeller blades, then throws a chain over helicopter's tail, tethering it and causing it to crash into a building and explode
• being shot at by Stamper on stealth ship, kills guard, pushes him out onto walkway and lets Stamper shoot guard and mistakenly think he has killed Bond
• holding Gupta at gunpoint for bargaining, but losing Gupta when Carver shoots him because he is no longer needed, uses watch to detonate bomb and damage the stealth ship's radar jamming system enough for British and Chinese ships to be able to see it on radar and attack it
• with Carver's missile about to fire on China in one minute, attaches detonators to missile, which get set off by the missile launch and destroy the missile
• being beaten up by Stamper, stabs him in the chest, kicks him away and releases a weight on his leg, pinning him to be burned up when missile launches
• held by the scruff of his vest by Stamper to also be killed by the missile launch, grabs the knife out of Stamper's chest and cuts himself free of the vest to drop into the water below, where he stays safely underwater with Wai Lin until the missile and stealth ship are done exploding
