- pursued by faster speedboat, hides temporarily in an old shipyard, picks up some gasoline in a bucket, restarts, does a u-turn to pass by enemy boat and throw gasoline on pursuer and runs enemy boat into the hull of an old ship, causing a large explosion
- with Solitaire about to be ritualistically sacrificed by deadly snake bite, shoots and kills man with snake, frees Solitaire and detonates the bombs he had set in the surrounding poppy fields
- tied to a winch with Solitaire, bloodied and about to be descended into shark-ridden water, uses magnetic field wrist watch to draw compressed gas pellet and circular saw to cut himself free
- wrestling with Mr. Big underwater with shark approaching, forces compressed gas pellet into Mr. Big's mouth and swims away to watch him expand, rise up to the ceiling and explode
- fighting with Tee Hee on train and being choked by his metal clamp hand, uses wire cutters to cut the cable tendons of his metal hand and lock his clamp on the handle of the window, then slides the window down and flips him out the open window, detaching him from his metal hand

- "Oh, sure we'll be able to lick you into shape," to Rosie after she worries that she is too inexperienced to be of help to Bond
- "Why, it's just a hat, darling, belonging to a small-headed man of limited means who lost a fight with a chicken," to Rosie after she discovers an omen hat with bloody feathers in the hotel room
- "Absolutely, there's no sense in getting off half-cocked," when asked by Solitaire if there's time for lover's lesson #3
