Fate to Be at Sea

Come, child, settle with the stones on the beach.
They grow tired from the tracks coming forthright.
I bring in my tide to gather in each,
And make their sandy bed smooth for the night.
Come, student, learn from the pieces of glass.
They are fearful and feel they must defend.
Watch their sharp edges slowly come to pass,
As I call my waves to rise and descend.
Come, friend, lay your head back upon my deep.
You worry of showing your evil face.
I gather my current to safely keep,
And buoy on the surface your inner grace.
You have chosen your fate to be with me,
And I hold my home ever here for thee.
